Challenge Classes Microgrant Award

Mission:

An initiative designed to offer displaced children the opportunity to learn English, Arabic, Math and, for a few hours a day, reclaim a piece of their childhood. Farah, the program’s lead educator, greets the children each morning with a quiet resilience. “I try hard to restore hope in the eyes of our children,” she explains. “My duty as an instructor is to help our kids restore one of their rights that was taken away, which is the right to education. So, I give them educational classes mixed with events and recreational activities that draw the smile on their faces.”
