Each one is creating under conditions of extraordinary hardship — siege, displacement, and ongoing genocide. Their participation in this campaign is an act of resistance and courage. Artist and graphic designer based in Gaza, working across digital and traditional media. Her practice focuses on expressive visual storytelling, translating lived experiences, emotion, memory, and the realities around her into visual form. “Art is my language when words fall silent.”

Mahmoud Al-Muqayad

Mahmoud Al-Muqayad

Gaza, Palestine

Photographer and sound engineer from Gaza. The war and blockade have forced him to stop working as an artist. “Your support today, whether by purchasing my art or contributing to my campaign, is a direct investment in my survival and my education.”

Noura Al-Qasasia

Noura Al-Qasasia

Gaza, Palestine

26-year-old Palestinian artist and fashion designer, born in Germany and based in Gaza. Her work sheds light on displacement, migration, loss, and resilience. Founder of “Breathe and Paint for Healing Art in Gaza,” supporting girls and children in processing trauma through art.

Gaza, Palestine

Gazan artist blending symbolic imagery, distorted forms, and intense color to convey emotional depth. Her work transforms lived experience into visual language, exploring themes of alienation, occupation, and resilience. Each piece becomes an act of witnessing and survival.

Ahmed Sarsour

Palestinian–Sudanese poet, aspiring filmmaker, activist, and human rights advocate shaped by displacement and resistance. A self-taught English writer, his work is forged through pain, love, and resilience. His poetry challenges dehumanization and affirms art as resistance.

Farah Elbahnasawi

Farah Elbahnasawi

Gaza, Palestine

Poet, voice-over artist, storyteller, and translator from Gaza. She graduated with distinction in English Literature from the Islamic University of Gaza. Her work has appeared on Opol-Space, Baladi Magazine, and Voices from Gaza, with poems translated into Spanish.

Fatena Abu Mostafa

Fatena Abu Mostafa

Gaza, Palestine

Translator, storyteller, and poet from Gaza. She studied under Palestinian poet and activist Refaat Alareer. Currently pursuing Creative Practice (Poetry and Performance) at Atlantic Technological University in Galway. Her work gives voice to the unspoken experiences of Gazans.

Twenty years old, studying artificial intelligence engineering and writing poetry. “My poetry career began since the birth of pain, so we write until we embody the memory of pain with the ink of my hand.” Her work has been published in Spanish, Italian, and English magazines.

Translator, audio content presenter, podcaster, aspiring writer, and poet born in 2004. Through her work, she brings life to her voice and the voices of those the world has forgotten. Published with OPOL platform and in her zine “Am I a Survivor?” with Coastal Line Press.

Nour Abdullatif

Nour Abdullatif

Gaza, Palestine

Writer from Gaza, a survivor of multiple wars and genocide, and a mother of three. Her poem “If I Must Starve” was published by The New York War Crimes and translated into multiple languages, including Japanese, Estonian, and Spanish. Contributor to Gaza Writes Back.

Roba Al Sharif

Roba Al Sharif

Gaza, Palestine

Seventeen-year-old Palestinian poet and writer, one of the youngest Palestinian poets. Author of works published in the UK, Japan, and Italy. Her poems have appeared in Opol, Baladi Magazine, and La Rosa di Gaza. “She writes because the pen should not be taken from us as the land was taken.”

Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi

Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi

Gaza, Palestine

Palestinian writer, poet, and editor living in Gaza, born 2006. Studies English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza. A chronicler and guardian of her community’s memory. Her work has appeared in over 30 international platforms. Editor at Baladi Magazine.
