Event Overview

Our Chords for Change fundraiser was a collaborative showcase and community fundraiser hosted by Cashmïr and Create Humanity 501(c)(3). Cashmïr is an independent NJ/NYC-based band dedicated to using their platform to advocate for human rights, foster community, and promote love through music and collective action.

The event honored the vibrant fabric of NYC’s local music community while bringing people together in solidarity with Palestine through an evening of live performances, connection, and collective care. Together, we raised funds to support art therapy initiatives and healing-centered programming for Palestinian refugee children in Cairo.

Funds raised during the event directly supported Denizens Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing art, education, and therapeutic programming for Palestinian refugee children in Cairo.

Together, we raised $2,500 USD, which funded the organization’s Youth Therapy Program (July–August 2025). We’re deeply honored that this gathering was able to contribute tangible support toward healing, creativity, and care for Palestinian youth! <3
