Noura Al-Qasasia

Noura is a 26-year-old painter, digital artist, and fashion designer. Self-taught in fine arts and formally trained in fashion design at the University of Applied Sciences, she has used creativity as both a form of expression and a tool for community care.

Throughout the genocide, Noura has dedicated herself to supporting others through art workshops for displaced children, planting initiatives in devastated neighborhoods, and a range of humanitarian efforts.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm living all my roles at once: the volunteer, the artist, the daughter, the emotional support for everyone around me. And I'm displaced too. I'm exhausted. But I keep going."

In 2025, Noura launched the Breathe & Paint Initiative, connecting people in Gaza with art therapists and creative programming that helps participants process trauma, express grief, and reconnect with their inner strength through painting and artistic expression.
