About
Aelma Azad is a visual designer focused on visual development and storytelling, using art as a form of advocacy and expression. Inspired by South Asian art traditions, her work explores culture, identity, and world-building through animation and digital art. Her short film Fighter Kites, inspired by Palestine, reflects her commitment to socially conscious storytelling. She is a recipient of the Scholastic National Gold Medal in Digital Art and directed Fighter Kites, exhibited at the RedLine Contemporary Art Center.
