"Hello there, I am Klara. Born in Czech Republic and residing in the mountains of Colombia. I am a mother, coffee farmer @fincasagrado, passionate about nature, sustainable living, social justice & equality for all human beings. Making art and farming are an important part of my life. As a farmer, the soil carves lines in my hands, as an artist, I carve lines in the canvas. Both are ways to make my inner world come to life.
My work "Fërýal" is made for my beautiful Palestinian friend Fërýal from Gaza. She has recently opened a school in the North of Gaza @knowledge_rains_life and her strength and resilience are a great inspiration for me.
My work "threads of power" surged from my frustration with the new age spirituality movement where many times people are only focused on their own well being/ "spirituality" while totally ignoring the suffering of others. That is not what I consider true spirituality to be.
May the world continue to resist oppression through art and compassion. Free Palestine"
