Learon Inbar works to foster connection and understanding between diverse perspectives through language and visual media. She has created art for the Reno Punk Flea Market, Melting Pot World Emporium, and many lovely people who commission portraits. Her current favorite modalities are ink drawing, printmaking, and poetry - often shared with the world through her social media presence @tiedyegadfly. In an age where more and more of the human experience is lived online, Learon finds inspiration playing with traditional media for a virtual audience.

Ceasefire Now, 2024
Digital Illustration
For this hamsa design, I’m working to raise awareness for my donation sticker campaign. My Ceasefire Now sticker campaign raises money for Breaking the Silence. For the sake of everyone between the river & the sea, I hope organizations like Breaking the Silence can open the minds of Israeli Jewish citizens to the truth on the ground: that the killing is mostly of innocents and that the IDF’s actions prioritize expansionism over the safety of ANY group in the region. This design’s focal point, the hamsa, is a powerful symbol for everyone in the Levant and MENA, a unifying symbol.
