Rania Omar

About

Rania Omar is an Australian Lebanese Muslim writer, poet and artist from Western Sydney. Her writing often reflects on her lived experiences of mental illness, disability, domestic violence as well as culture and social commentary. Rania has performed at theatres, poetry slams and arts festivals across Sydney and her work appears in the recently published book Ritual, the world's first collection of Muslim-Australian poetry.
